Proud supporter of Dancers Against Cancer Foundation
Our 2024 studio banquet brings our annual 50/50 raffle. This year, we gave over $2000 to DAC!
Gotta Dance Academy proudly supports neighboring dance studio and fellow dance family, Simi Dance Center, as owner Ryan Lohoff is battling cancer. We are truly united in dance, and support both Ryan and Brigid in every step of their journey!
"A family is a circle of love, not broken by a loss, but made stronger by the memories.
We are forever blessed that God connected us to YOU."
We love you, Ms. Anasheh

Anasheh Abramiyan
Anasheh Abramiyan grew up dancing in Los Angeles, California at the age of four. She learned and excelled in dance while attending studios, including her home studio, Helen's Dance Studio and taking classes at The Edge Performing Arts Center and Millenium Dance Complex . She began working as dancer out of high school and has danced with artists such as Kanye West, Rhianna and Lenny Kravitz. She continued her dance career while at the University of Southern California as co-captain of the World Famous USC Song Girls. Anasheh also danced professionally in the NBA as member of the Los Angeles Clippers Dance Team for 3 seasons . She has been teaching at Gotta Dance Academy and choreographing for the competition dance team for 10 seasons. Most recently two of her teams have earned the prize of National Grand Champions in the 2014, 2015, & 2016 seasons.
After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Ms. Anasheh became an angel on January 31, 2017, and is now wearing her crown and dancing with the angels in heaven. We dance today in her memory, and our newest studio space, Studio A, has been dedicated to her memory.

We support this amazing foundation and have become an official Hope Studio, pledging to continue to raise money for the fight against cancer. This is a foundation that is near and dear to our heart, as our teacher, Ms. Anasheh, just recently lost her battle with cancer. Our strong and beautiful Anasheh is now dancing as an angel in heaven.

GDA DAC UPDATES
- On March 20, 2018, GDA students and staff stopped by Simi Dance Center, a neighboring dance studio, to present owners Brigid and Ryan Lohoff with a check for $2800 in support of Ryan's current fight against cancer. We stand with SDC in this tough time!
- On July 13, 2017, GDA raised $900 in 3 hours for DAC, all in loving memory of our beautiful Miss Anasheh. Thank you, namely to the Johnson family, and all our incredible families for their love and support!
- Thanks to all the love and support shown for our Miss Anasheh, we have been able to make considerable amounts in donations in Anasheh's name to Dancers Against Cancer. We were able to donate over $5,000 to this incredible cause! This is only the beginning of our fundraising efforts for our angel, Miss Anasheh!
- Special thanks to ALL who donated by purchasing 50/50 raffle tickets at our 2016 banquet! The money raised is going directly to the Dancers Against Cancer foundation. In hopes of becoming a Hope studio in support of Dancers Against Cancer, we set out to raise $1,000. Through the generosity of our GDA families, including raffle winners Holly & Jon Beswick - who donated their winnings back to the foundation - we were able to raise $1,174 in one night. Thank you, GDA family!
