About Christine

​Christine Dao began dancing at Gotta Dance Academy when she was just 3 years old. What started as a fun activity quickly grew into a true passion. By the age of 7, she joined the studio’s competition team, where she began training and performing in jazz, tap, and lyrical. Over the years, Christine has continued to grow not only as a dancer but as a teammate and performer. She loves the way dance allows her to express herself and connect with others through movement. She’s always excited to learn, whether it’s mastering new choreography or exploring new styles. In addition to her time at GDA, Christine also dances on the Oaks Christian Dance Team, where she brings her studio experience to school performances and events. She is so grateful that GDA continue to set her up for success and taking further steps like these. Christine is honored to be recognized as Dancer of the Year—a reflection of her dedication, love for dance, and the amazing support from her teachers, teammates, and family. GDA will forever be her second family and she wouldn’t ask for anything more!
